FORT MYERS, Fla. - Softball tryouts for anyone interested in joining the team for the spring season will be held on Tuesday afternoon, September 7, at 2:00 PM at the FGCU Softball Complex.

Led by head coach Dave Deiros, the Eagles finished last season with a 12-8 record in the Atlantic Sun (24-28 overall) to finish third in the regular season standings. The 2011 campaign will be the fourth and final year that the Blue and Green will not be eligible for postseason play due to the four-year NCAA provisional period.

Eligibility
Tryouts are open ONLY to FGCU students that are enrolled full-time

Documentation
Potential student-athletes need to provide the following to Coach Bachkora by August 27 if they would like to try out:
• Proof of Medical Insurance (Tryout Waiver Form)
• Proof of Physical Examination (Physical Form)
- Potential student-athletes may arrange this with their personal physician or by appointment with the FGCU Wellness Center
• Signed Liability Waiver Form (FGCU Liability Waiver Form)

**No Walk Up Tryouts will be allowed**
