Eagles take two in first double header of Cusic

Fort Myers - The FGCU softball (5-6) team defeated Alma College (#16 NCAA III) today 9-1 in the first game of the double header today.
Nicole Wehrner (3-0) threw a complete game giving up four hits and one earned run in the win.
Offensively the Eagles were on today as three different Eagles had two hits.
Ashley Cecil went 2-for-4 in the first game scoring a pair of runs, and stealing two bases.
Kristy Ringler went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Christine Beck also went 2-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI.
In the second game of the double header FGCU evened its record to 6-6 on the season by defeating Adrian College 9-1.
Christine Beck was impressive firing a one hitter, and striking out three.
Ashley Cecil and Kristy Ringler again combined for four hits in the win.
Slugger Erin Ogden went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, while Blair Toleman had a big game going 3-for-3 with a run scored and three RBI's.
Kelly Morgan went 2-for-2 with a run scored and 2 RBI's while Adrienne Cicirello was impressive going 1-for-2 with three RBI's including a base clearing triple in the fourth to spark the team to victory.
The Eagles will battle Eckerd College on the road tomorrow at 6 pm as they look to get over the .500 mark.
