With Eagles on first and second, an error on Platt’s hit to left field allowed the runners to score and give FGCU a 4-0 lead.
Fernández plated Platt from third in the seventh for the final run of the night. Platt led off the inning with a walk and advanced to third on a Quinnipiac error before motoring across the plate.
