(831) 582-4783 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Seaside, Calif. – Florida Gulf Coast remained perfect in sweeping player of the week awards. The honors have been awarded nine times this season and FGC has won all nine. Player of the Week was Blair Toleman (Sr./Lehigh Acres, Fla.) for the second straight week. She hit .539 (7-13), drove in four runs and had one double as the Eagles went 6-0. Pitcher of the Week was Amanda Bechtoldt (Jr./New Baden, Ill.). She went 3-0 and gave up six hits, two runs, and no earned runs in 17 innings for a 0.00 ERA. She threw shutouts over Winona State and Franklin Pierce.
