Johnson, Edinger and Jenks Named To All-Tournament Team

Fort Myers, Fla. – The Florida Gulf Coast University softball team finished their own Spring Break Tournament 9-1 as Co-Camps with Concordia St. Paul. Several Eagles received All-Tournament team honors.
Sophomore pitcher Rachael Edinger from Lakeland, Florida and freshman third-baseman Cheyenne Jenks from Naples, Florida both were named to the All-Tournament team. Sophomore Eagle Hillary Johnson of Fort Myers, Florida received the Tournament Most Valuable Player honor. Johnson collected nine total RBI’s in the tournament along with four homeruns. Her overall batting percentage stands at .500 so far this season.
The Eagles are now 25-4 overall and will continue home play this Friday March 10th versus Newberry University in a doubleheader starting at 5:00 pm.
