Softball's Natasha Johnson Named 1st Team Academic All-District

FORT MYERS, Fla., Senior 1st baseman Natasha Johnson (Fort Pierce, Fla.) was named first team Academic All-District by ESPN/CoSIDA. Jessica Rouse (Jacksonville, Fla.) was selected to the second team.

Johnson batted .301 during the regular season and posted a 3.82 GPA while majoring in athletic training. Rouse hit 11 homers during the regular season and was named to the team last season.

Johnson now has a chance to be named Academic All-American. The ESPN/CoSIDA Academic All-American team will be announced on May 30.
