FORT MYERS, Fla. – Cheyenne Jenks showed why she was named A-Sun Preseason Player of the Year, collecting four home runs and nine RBI, to earn her first career Player of the Week honor, the conference announced Monday.
Jenks led the Eagles to a 6-0 finish at the FGCU Spring Break Tournament. The senior finished the week with four home runs, a .667 batting average, and a 1.750 slugging percentage. The Naples, Fla., native also had nine RBI, scored 11 runs, hit one double, and drew six walks.
