FORT MYERS, Fla. – The FGCU softball game against Villanova that was scheduled for Saturday evening has been postponed due to the weather conditions in Southwest Florida. The remaining schedule for the FGCU Spring Break Invitational has also been altered as a result of the rain.
The FGCU-Villanova game that was originally scheduled for Saturday night at 6 p.m. has been postponed, but no makeup date or time have been decided as of yet. The game will not be played until Sunday at the earliest.
In addition, the Minnesota-Eastern Michigan game that was delayed by rain in the bottom of the fifth has been declared final, with Minnesota winning, 4-0.
The remaining schedule for games today at the FGCU Softball Complex is as follows:
Georgia Southern vs. Villanova – 5 p.m.
Eastern Michigan vs. St. Francis (PA) – 7:15 p.m.
