As A Freshman (2008)
Named to the A-Sun All-Freshman team … also chosen as the FGCU Softball Co-Newcomer of the Year by the team … recorded a 16-3 record in 27 appearances ... tossed 13 complete games and four shutouts … ended the year with a 2.54 ERA in 137.2 innings pitched … had at least three strikeouts in 15 games … opened her collegiate career with one strikeout versus Florida (Feb. 8) … picked up her first career win against South Dakota State (Feb. 22) after tallying eight strikeouts and allowing only one hit … had a season-high nine strikeouts against Western Carolina (Feb. 23) … had a three-game winning streak to win A-Sun Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 25) … pitched a full game against St. Bonaventure (Mar. 1) with seven strikeouts … followed that performance with a win against Mount St. Mary’s (Mar. 2) with eight strikeouts... extended her winning streak to six games into the beginning of March … opened her A-Sun career with a win at ETSU (Mar. 16) … picked up her first career save against Long Island (Mar. 18) … matched a season-high with nine strikeouts against Campbell (Mar. 20) … earned another conference win at Lipscomb (Mar. 30), allowing only two runs …tossed six strike outs in the win against Kennesaw State (Apr. 4) … went 4.2 innings in her final start of the season, knocking off two Stetson (Apr. 29) batters.

Born June 6, 1988 … daughter of Eric and Pam Campen … has two sisters, Ashleigh and Shelley … Shelley played softball at Catawba College, and Ashleigh played softball at University of Connecticut … graduated with a bachelor’s in criminal forensics and criminal justice … Currently in grad school for Human Behavioral Analysis ... lists softball or baseball as her favorite sport to watch … making it to college to play softball is her biggest accomplishment … chose to attend FGCU because she loves the area, the academics, and the softball program.
