Sophomore - Named to 2006 All-ICAA First Team...Started 45 games and appeared in 56...Recorded a .301 batting average with 40 hits, 11 doubles, three long-balls, and 25 RBI...Had .451 slugging percentage...Stole two bases...Ended season with perfect fielding percentage without making a single error at the catcher position...Threw out 13 runners trying to steal a base.

Freshman - Played freshman season at Polk Community College

Prep - Four-year performer at Columbia High in Lake City under Coach Mary Hale... named to the All Area Team, All State Team… received the Best Defensive Player… voted Most Valuable Player senior year

Achievements - 2006 All-Independents Collegiate Athletic Association First Team.

Personal - Roz Tyre is majoring in Psychology…Favorite sports movie is A League of Their Own…Favorite sports moment is winning the district title in high school against Bucholz her junior year…Favorite sports to watch are football, baseball, and softball…Favorite musical talent is singing…The reality TV show she would most like to be on is Real World…If she were stranded on an island she would like to have food…The person who would most likely play her in a movie about herself is Sandra Bullock…The one person she would most like to meet is Ellen…If she had one wish it would be that injuries did not exist…The one place she would most like to visit is New York…Her career aspiration is to get certified and work with troubled children…She is most thankful for being healthy and able to play ball with her parents in the stands watching…The daughter of Russell and Tweetie Tyre.
