FORT MYERS, Fla. – The FGCU swimming & diving team will travel to Miami tomorrow to take on Florida International University in a non-conference dual meet. The meet is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. at the Bay Vista Aquatics Complex located on FIU’s Biscayne Bay Campus.

The Eagles are looking to keep the momentum going following a strong showing at their home opener last Saturday, defeating Miami for the first time ever, and doing so in convincing fashion, 195-99. Florida State, also a part of the tri-meet, defeated FGCU 178-119, as the Seminoles remained undefeated on the season.

FIU comes into the meet looking for their first win of the season. The Golden Panthers record stands at 0-4 after losing their home opener to Florida Atlantic last Friday, 143-96.

This will mark the fourth meeting between the two programs, with FGCU winning the previous three matchups. Last season the Eagles defeated the Golden Panthers twice; 148-84 at home and 187-56 in Miami.
