FORT MYERS, Fla. – The FGCU swimming & diving team will travel to Jacksonville on Wednesday for a dual meet with undefeated CCSA foe North Florida. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at the University of North Florida Aquatic Center.

The Eagles, owners of a 6-3 dual meet record, are looking to hand the Ospreys their first dual meet loss of the season. UNF stands at a perfect 4-0 thus far, handing losses to Florida A&M, College of Charleston, Georgia Southern, and Campbell.

Most recently, the Ospreys defeated CCSA opponent Campbell, 133-66, in a dual meet held this on Saturday. The Eagles last meet resulted in a pair of victories, defeating Florida Atlantic, 180-112, and Tampa, 194-92.

Last year these two squads met once during the regular season, with FGCU coming out on top, 129-71. In 2007-08, the last time FGCU traveled to Jacksonville, the Eagles were victorious, 134-107. This season, the two schools have one mutual opponent, fellow CCSA member Georgia Southern. The Ospreys defeated GSU 149-141, while the Eagles won 229-65.
