4/3/2008 Neal Studd Announces Swim Camp
FGCU Swimming & Diving Coach Neal Studd is offereing three different swimming camps this summer. These swim camps focus on the technique and training necessary to improve in competitive swimming. Particular attention to starts and turns in addition to technique analysis in all four strokes will be worked on day to day.

2/23/2008 Swimming and Diving Finish Second At First-Ever CCSA Championships
The Florida Gulf Coast University Womens Swimming and Diving team took second place in the inaugural CCSA Swimming Championships that concluded on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008. Freshman Viktoria Hyddmark, earned womens most outstanding swimmer honors, as well as outstanding freshman honors.
2/22/2008 Swimming & Diving in 3rd After Second Day at CCSA Championships
The FGCU women's swimming and diving finished the second day of the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association in 3rd place with a total of398.5 points. The Eagles trail Davidson, who continues to lead the Championship with a score of 444, and Gardner-Webb who is now in second with 426.5 points.
2/20/2008 Womens Swimming and Diving Set for CCSA Championships
The Florida Gulf Coast University womens swimming and diving team will participate in the first-ever conference championship for the CCSA, which will be held in Huntersville, N.C. at the Huntersville Aquatic Center over a three-day period Feb.21-23
2/20/2008 Swimming & Diving in 2nd After Day 1 at CCSA Championship
FGCU is in 2nd place after Day One of the CCSA Championships with 205 points. FGCU won three events on the first day including a sweep of the top three spots in the 200 Individual Medley.

The Florida Gulf Coast University of swimming and diving team fell to Florida Atlantic, 242-58, Saturday morning at the Norman Whitten Student Union Pool. With the loss, the Eagles fall to 7-8 in their inaugural season.

The Florida Gulf Coast University swimming and diving team defeated Florida International, 165-74, but fell to Miami, 169-70, in a tri-meet Saturday morning at the Norman Whitten Student Union Pool.

The Florida Gulf Coast University womens swimming and diving team will travel to Coral Gables, Fla. to face Miami and Florida International on Saturday, Jan. 26. The tri-meet at the Norman Whitten Student Union Pool is set to begin at 11 a.m.

The No.22 Florida Gulf Coast swimming & diving team takes one in dual meet on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles upended Campbell, while falling to Georgia Southern by one point.

The Florida Gulf Coast University swimming and diving team opened the weekend with a win over CCSA foe UNF, defeating the Lady Ospreys 134-107 at the UNF Aquatic Center.

The Florida Gulf Coast swimming and diving team combined to defeat Florida A&M, while falling to Florida State on Saturday morning at the Bobby E. Leach Center.

Rein led the Eagles to a 2-1 week and took first place in three events. She is in the top five in six events in the CCSA top times.
1/6/2008 No. 22 Eagles Take One in Tri Meet
The Florida Gulf Coast University womens swimming team picked up a win against Indian River Community College, but fell to No. 11 Penn State on Sunday in their first tri meet of the season.
1/5/2008 Eagles Defeat Saint Louis University in FGCU Invitational
The Florida Gulf Coast University Swim Team defeated Saint Louis University Saturday morning by a score of 108-66 in the FGCU Invitational.
12/19/2007 Swimming & Diving Ranked 17th in CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major Poll
The FGCU women's Swimming and Diving team has moved up four spots in the www.Collegeswimming.com Mid-Major top-25. The first year Eagles are ranked 17th in this week's poll. FGCU made their debut in the poll on November 16 at 21st.
12/2/2007 Swimming & Diving Places 4th in Miami Invitational
The FGCU women's swimming and diving team finished fourth in the 16 team Miami (Ohio) Invitational. The hosts won the meet with a score of 2103 while the Eagles finished fourth with 844 points in the meet.
12/1/2007 Swimming & Diving Remains in Top-Five
The FGCU women's swimming and diving team remains in the top-five after the second day of the 14th annual Miami (Ohio) Invitational. The hosts have taken over the top spot with a team score of 1070 while FGCU claims fifth with a team score of 412.
11/30/2007 Swimming & Diving in Second After Day One at Miami Invitational
The FGCU Women's Swimming & Diving team is in second place after one day at the 14th annual Miami (Ohio) Invitational. The Eagles combined team score of 116 is nine behind Oakland's 125 in the 12 team field.

Florida Gulf Coast freshman Viktoria Hyddmark (Lund, Sweden) has been selected as the CCSA Women's Swimmer of the Week.
10/27/2007 Swimming & Diving Secures Program's First Win
The FGCU swimming and diving team defeated the University of Tampa, on Saturday afternoon at the FGCU Aquatics Center to secure the program's first win.
10/25/2007 FGCU Swimming and Diving Prepare for first Quad Meet
The FGCU womens swimming and diving team set to host their first quad meet of the inaugural season. FGCU will host Georgia Tech, University of Tampa, and Florida Atlantic this weekend at the FGCU/Lee County Aquatics Center. FGCU will also host the mens swimming and diving teams from the University of Tampa, and Florida Atlantic. The meet will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday morning, admission is free to everyone.
10/13/2007 Eagles Drop Inaugural Meet to Miami
The FGCU womens swimming and diving team were defeated by Miami in the inaugural meet Saturday at the FGCU/Lee County Aquatics Center. The Hurricanes defeated the Eagles 156-84.

The FGCU womens swimming and diving team set to host the University of Miami this weekend to begin the program's inaugural season at the FGCU/Lee County Aquatics Center. The inaugural meet will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday morning, admission is free to everyone

FGCU Swimming & Diving Head Coach Neal Studd has announced the hiring of Elizabeth Lykins as assistant swimming coach. Lykins comes to FGCU with five years experience as a Division I assistant.
