MIAMI, Fla. - The FGCU Swimming and Diving team traveled to the east coast this past weekend to compete against in state rival Florida International University. The Eagles won their fourth straight against the Golden Panthers by a score of 187-56.
As Eagle fans have become accustomed to, the 200 Medley Relay “A” and “B” teams finished first and second to pace the Eagles.
The Eagles, for the second straight meet, finished in first place in every swimming event in which they competed.

The Eagles were equally impressive on the diving boards taking first place on the 3 meter board and second place on the 1 meter board.
Karmin McNamara finished with a 241.28 on the 3 meter board and Gaby Shaw finished second on the 1 meter board with a 220.20.
The Lady Eagles have won eight out of their last nine meets and will look to continue their dominance next Saturday, January 31, as they travel to Gainesville for a tri-meet against the Gators of the University of Florida and Indian River State College.
