Junior: As captain and one of only two juniors on the squad, Courtney highlighted her year at the 14th Annual Miami Invite by setting three FGCU records with the Eagle’s best times in the 500-yard (4:55.63), 1000-yard (10:17.74), and 1650-yard (16:51.24) Freestyles. Her performance in the mile earned her an NCAA Provisional Time (B-Cut). At conference championships, Gallo garnered two gold medal finishes (500 and 1650 free) and one bronze (200 fly) to help lead the team to a 2nd place finish at the CCSA. Courtney will return for her senior season and provide not only an excellent distance freestyle swimmer but will also provide valuable, veteran leadership for the 2009 season.

Ohio University (2006-07)

High School: Transferred from Ohio University, where she was the MAC champion in the mile...Graduated 2005 from Atlantic High School in Lake Worth, Florida…Coached by Ken Caplin…Was a state qualifier and finalist between the years of 2002-2005…State champion in the 200 free relay…All American consideration.
