Eagles Move to 6th in South Region Rankings
FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Gulf Coast University volleyball team has moved up to sixth in the latest NCAA Division II South Region Volleyball Poll released Wednesday evening.
The Eagles moved up two positions, from eighth, since the first regional poll of the season was released on October 6. The top three positions in the region remained unchanged. Barry, North Florida and Tampa maintained their 1-2-3 positions. Florida Southern moved up from seventh to fourth and Armstrong Atlantic is fifth. In the South Region, champions of the Peach Belt, Sunshine State and South Atlantic conferences receive automatic bids. Five at-large teams are chosen to fill the eight-team field.
