FORT MYERS, Fla., - The FGCU volleyball team puts their 10-match winning streak against Atlantic Sun foes on the line this weekend when they travel to Georgia to face Mercer and Kennesaw State. The Eagles have swept their last seven conference foes and have won 22 straight sets against league members.

Behind Santos, the Eagles hit .355 as a team against league rivals Stetson and Campbell.

The Eagles take on Mercer in the first match of the road trip. The Bears are currently 5-5, but are 4-0 at home this year. They saw their four-match winning streak snapped last Friday at Jacksonville. As a team, they lead the Atlantic Sun in blocks at 2.41 per set. Earlier this season, they knocked off SEC foe Auburn in four games on the road.

Kennesaw State is a third-year program and is currently 1-9 on the year. The Owls host Stetson before facing FGCU on Saturday. Selina O’Leary is third in the Atlantic Sun in digs per set at 3.73.
