FORT MYERS, Fla. – FGCU Volleyball Head Coach Dave Nichols has announced his 2010 summer camp schedule. Starting on July 5, 2010 and running through July 31, 2010, Nichols will be hosting summer volleyball camps for all ages at Alico Arena.

2010 All Skills Camp
July 5th – 7th 2010
Check In = 3-5pm on July 5th
Check Out = 11:30am on July 7th
Commuter $205, Resident $250

July 7th – 10th 2010
Check In = 3-5pm on July 7th
Check Out = 2pm on July 10th
Commuter $250, Resident $275

July 30 – 31, 2010
Check In = 9-11am on July 30th
Check Out = 7pm on July 31st
Commuter $150, Resident $175

Description: This camp will hone all six volleyball skills. Players will be grouped by ability and then matched with just the right coach. The format will include skill stations as well as play. After these five volleyball packed sessions you will be ready to take your game to the next level. Campers must bring there own breakfast foods, Lunch and Dinner will be served at Alico Arena in the VIP Room.


2010 Position Training Camp

July 19th – 21st 2010
Check In = 3-5pm on July 19th
Check Out = 11:30am on July 21th
Commuter $205, Resident $250

Description: Players will be grouped by their preferred position, and then will learn more about their position than they ever imagined! The format will be two thirds training on a specific position, and one third bringing all positions together to work on their skills in a 6 v 6 game format. We know you will leave camp with more skill, more tactics, and a better understanding of how to play your position. Campers must bring there own breakfast foods, Lunch and Dinner will be served at Alico Arena in the VIP Room.


2010 Team Camp

July 21st – 24th 2010
Check In = 3-5pm on July 21st
Check Out = 5pm on July 24th
Commuter $250, Resident $275

July 26th – 29th 2010
Check In = 3-5pm on July 26th
Check Out = 5pm on July 29th
Commuter $205, Resident $250

Description: This camp will combine skill sessions, wash drill sessions, and team competition. We encourage high school coaches to attend. Share ideas with our knowledgeable and experienced coaches. The format will include skill sessions in the morning, wash drills in the afternoon, and regular matches in the evenings. Systems, mental approaches, and tactics will be also be taught. We will finish with a camp Tournament. Campers must bring there own breakfast foods, Lunch and Dinner will be served at Alico Arena in the VIP Room.
