FORT MYERS, Fla. - After leading the Eagles to a thrilling 59-58 win over defending Big Ten champion Michigan State last week, sophomore Sarah Hansen (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane HS) earned College Sports Madness’ Atlantic Sun Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, the website announced on Tuesday.

Hansen knocked down a clutch free-throw with 0.4 seconds left on the clock to lift the Green and Blue to possibly the program’s biggest upset, a 59-58 victory over Michigan State in front of 3,108 fans at Alico Arena.

The Edinboro, Pa. native gave the Spartans problems all night and recorded her second double-double of the season with 20 points and 13 rebounds in 37 minutes. She shot 5-of-8 from the floor and 9-of-11 from the charity stripe.
