Final Winner of FGCU Basketball Season Ticket Incentive Program Announced
DUNK CITY, Fla. – FGCU men’s and women’s basketball season tickets are selling fast and the FGCU athletic department announced the final winner of its month-long drawing that is part of its renewal incentive program.
In appreciation for its loyal early bird season ticket purchases, FGCU held a weekly drawing during the month of May. In the final drawing of the month, Jim Reutter won autographed basketballs by the 2013-14 men’s and women’s programs. A complete listing of the monthly winners is below.
The 2012-13 campaign was a historic season for FGCU, as its men’s and women’s basketball programs combined for 53 wins, the ninth-best total in the nation. The Eagles joined elite programs such as Duke, Louisville and Gonzaga last season as the only schools to win at least 26 games in both the men’s (26-11) and women’s (27-7) side.
Current season ticket holders who haven’t renewed for 2013-14 still have until Friday, June 28th at 5 p.m. to purchase their ticket(s) at the upgraded 2013-14 prices before their seats are released. Fans interested in purchasing new season tickets can place a $50 non-refundable deposit to get on a Priority List. The ticket office will contact the Priority List during the week of July 15th to reserve specific seats. Seat location priority will be determined on a first-come, first-served manner, based on giving levels to the Eagles Club. In addition, certain priority locations now require a minimum Eagles Club donation. Also, due to demand, additional reserved sections have been created for the upcoming year.
Combined season tickets for both the men’s and women’s teams are available again for a combined 50 percent discount. Season tickets for either the men’s and women’s program range from $112-$332, while a combined season ticket (both teams) ranges from $169-$499 depending on the seat location and whether or not an individual is a renewal or new purchaser.
