FGCU Women's Basketball Director of Basketball Operations, Mel Thomas, was inducted into her high school’s (Mount Notre Dame) Hall of Fame on Thursday, April 18 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Thomas, the all-time leading scorer in the history of Mount Notre Dame's basketball program, and the 2004 MND state championship team were recognized at the event.
