After shooting 52.9 percent (18-for-34) in the first half, the Eagles shot 60.9 percent (14-for-23) in the second half, adding 77.8 percent (21-for-27) from the free throw line and 44.4 percent (12-for-27) from 3-point range.
Five Eagles scored in double figures, with Chelsea Lyles (Colorado Springs, Col.) and Diana Jacklin (Berwyn, Ill.) each finishing with a team-high 16 points. Kristina Mingos (Mission Hills, Kan.) recorded her first career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Kristine Herman (San Ramon, Calif.) finished with 13 points. Adrianne McNally (Howell, Mich.) chipped in with 11 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
The Eagles now have to sit and wait to see where and when they will be playing in the WNIT. The WNIT field will be announced the evening of the NCAA Tournament selections, on Monday, March 16.
