Cosgrove to Join FGCU Women's Cross Country Program
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University's women's cross country head coach Cassandra Harbin has announced the addition of Kailand Cosgrove to the program’s recruiting class.
Cosgrove comes to FGCU from Tarpon Springs High School. An All-American triathlete for USAT, the Tarpon Springs, Fla. native was ranked number one for the 15-19 age group for USAT the past three years, was named to the St. Petersburg Times All-County team, and was a three-time conference champion (2006-08).
Cosgrove will join fellow incoming freshmen Barrie Cohen, Shannon Compher, Leigh Mumford, and Claire Stodghill as newcomers in the fall of 2009.
