FORT MYERS, Fla. – Continuing its offseason training regimen, the FGCU cross country teams are set to compete in five spring track meets, all of which will take place in the state of Florida.

While track and field is not one of FGCU’s 15 intercollegiate programs, the cross country teams will use the matches as an opportunity to compete during their offseason.

The Eagles will open with a trip to Daytona Beach, Fla. for the ERAU Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 28) and follow with back-to-back trips to Tampa, Fla. for the USF hosted Bulls Invitational (Mar. 16) and South Florida Collegiate (April 6). If the Green and Blue qualify for the event, they will head to Gainesville, Fla. on April 6 to compete at the Pepsi Florida Relays hosted by Florida.
