Anthony Morales came to FGCU in June 2013 as the Assistant Coach for the Men's and Women's Cross Country programs.
Morales receieved his Bachelors of Science in Sport Management from the University of Florida in 2011 and is currently working towards a Masters in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University with an anticipated graduation date of August 2014.
While at the University of Florida, Morales served as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for two years with the Cross Country and Track & Field programs. The Gators won three NCAA Men's Track & Field National Championships (Indoor 2011, Indoor 2012 and Outdoor 2013) while he served as an assistant. Morales was also a part of UF winning the 2011 Men's SEC Indoor Championship, as well as the 2012 Women's SEC Indoor Championship.
A four-year letter winner in Cross Country and Track & Field, Morales also competed for the Gators during his time in Gainesville as he was a two-time NCAA All-Region selection, in addition to being a two-time SEC Academic All-American.
