Women's Golf places 4th overall

by Jessica Pasternack DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- The Florida Gulf Coast University women’s golf team competed in the Lady Falcon Invitational placing 4th overall with a score of 623. Lynn University finished 1st with a score of 606. The Eagles were led by sophomore Heather Hagerman (New Port Richey, Fla.) who had an overall score of 147. Senior Brittany Bertilson (Austin, MN.) had an overall score of 156. Freshman Cassie Sherron (Cape Coral, Fla.) followed close behind with a score of 158. Sophomore Hallie Schweitzer (Flower Mound, TX.) had an overall score of 161 and sophomore Natalie Lueck (Beaver Falls, PA.) had an overall score of 169. The Eagles will now prepare for the 2005 FGCU Invitational to be held at the Miromar Lakes Golf Club on February 6-7.
