Women place 13th at the Sea Trail Intercollegiate

FORT MYERS, Fla – The FGCU Eagles finished 13th with a three-round score of 956 after posting a 308 in the final round of play at the Sea Trail Women’s Intercollegiate Golf Classic this past weekend. ETSU finished with the lead after posting a final round score of 298. Longwood University (309-307-296) finished second while Elon (303-308-303) placed third for the tournament.

FGCU’s Amber Peterson, the top Eagle performer, finished 17th overall after shooting a five-over-par on Sunday for a three-round score of 232 (79-76-77). The Eagle’s next competition will begin on October 5, 2008 when they look to soar over the field at the Marshall Invitational in Huntington, WV.
