FORT MYERS, Fla. - FGCU women’s golf team rounded out a solid weekend of golf at the Koasati Pines Collegiate Classic in Kinder, Louisiana this past weekend.

Pacing the Eagles was junior Amber Peterson who recorded a three-round score of 239 (81-80-78) as she tied for thirty-second overall in the field.

Texas State University just edged out McNeese State University by two strokes to take the victory with a three-round score of 924 (303-317-304).

The Eagles will be back in action February 23 as they travel to Jacksonville to compete in the Jacksonville Women’s Invitational.
