FORT MYERS, Fla. – Sophomore Georgia Price (Winchester, England/Fort Myers HS) finished in a tie for ninth to record her third top-10 finish of 2012 while helping the Eagles to a seventh-place finish at the Pat Bradley Invitational (Oct. 21-23) to earn A-Sun Women's Golfer of the Week honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.

After shooting 72 and 78 to open play at the Pat Bradley Invite, Price, who leads the Eagles in scoring average (76.00), concluded the three-day event with a round of 74, bringing her score to 72-78-74/224 to finish in a two-way tie for ninth.

The top 10 finish was the third of the fall season for Price, who placed 6th at the LPGA Xavier Invitational (Oct. 12-14) and 1st at the Jacksonville Courtyard Classic (Oct. 15-16).

With the fall season now in the books, the FGCU women’s golf team will have some time to prepare for the 2013 championship spring season. The Green and Blue open the spring campaign with a trip to Coral Gables, Fla. to compete at the Hurricane Invite, hosted by the University of Miami, at the Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club from Feb. 4-5. Results and recaps from the event will be available at www.FGCUAthletics.com at the conclusion of each day.
