FORT MYERS, Fla. – The FGCU Women’s Golf Team begins the 2009-10 season by hosting the Eagles Golf Invitational at Miromar Lakes Golf & Beach Club. The first day is scheduled for Monday, September 21st with the tournament concluding the following day.

Other teams participating in the Eagles Golf Invitational include Bethune-Cookman, Jacksonville, and Florida Atlantic.

Miromar Lakes is located off Ben Hill Griffin Parkway between Corkscrew Road and Alico Road. Take exit 123 off I-75, head east on Corkscrew Road to Ben Hill Griffin Parkway and continue 2.8 miles north to Miromar Lakes.

The Eagles finished the 2008-09 season with a fifth place finish in the Atlantic Sun Championship Tournament. Jessica Paulmann scored the highest for FGCU in the tournament, tied for eighteenth overall.
