Women's Golf Team Places 12th at Lady Moc Invitational

LAKELAND, Fla. – Freshman Heather Hagerman finished 24th overall as Florida Gulf Coast University finished 12th out of 19 teams at the Lady Moc Invitational, hosted by Florida Southern College. The Eagles finished with a team score of 986. Top-ranked Rollins College won the event with a 603 team score. The event was held at the par-72 Cleveland Heights Golf Club. Hagerman (New Port Richey, Fla.) shot a 21-over par three-round score of 237 (80-79-78) to finish in a four-way tie for 24th. Freshman Natalie Lueck (Beaver Falls, Pa.) tied for 43rd with a 245 (76-85-84) while junior Brittany Bertilson (Austin, Minn.) tied for 49th with a 247 (83-82-82). Freshman Hallie Schweitzer (Flower Mound, Tex.) completed the Eagles scoring with a 257 (92-81-84). FGCU will return to the links on March 11-12 at the Springlake Invitational hosted by Northern Illinois in Sebring, Florida.
