Day Two Complete: Women's Golf Still Fourth

FORT MYERS, Fla. - After the completion of the second round of the Atlantic Sun Championships this afternoon, the FGCU women’s golf team is currently in fourth place.

Leading the Eagles during day two of the three round championships was Jackie Fernandez who matched her first round score of 77 for a two-round score of 154 and a share of 17th place overall.

The Eagles finished round two with a combined score of 617 and are still in fourth place behind Campbell (590), Stetson (593), and East Tennessee State (602).

Campbell was able to shave five strokes off the lead on the day moving from two back of host, Stetson University, to three strokes ahead after day two was complete.

The Atlantic Sun Championships will wrap up tomorrow with its third and final round of play starting at 8 a.m.
