Women's Golf Opens Play at USF-Waterlefe Invitational

BRADENTON, Fla. – The FGCU women’s golf team concluded the opening rounds at the USF-Waterlefe Invitational Tournament in Bradenton, Fla. on Monday afternoon.

As a team, FGCU is in 13th place with a two-round score of 634 (326-308). Nova Southeastern sits atop the leaderboard with a score of 589 (299-290).

Junior Lina Elmsater (Solna, Sweden) leads the team with a score of 150 (76-74) and is tied for 13th overall.

The Eagles have been paired with the University of Montana and South Florida B for the final round of the tournament with an 8:30 a.m. tee time on Tuesday morning.
