Eagles Complete Day One at Pat Bradley Invitiational

FORT MYERS, Fla. – As the first day came to a close at the 32nd Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational Tournament in Fort Myers, Fla., the Florida Gulf Coast University women’s golf team is tied for ninth overall in a 15 team field. Heading into the final round, three Eagle golfers are in the top 25 overall.

On the team leaderboard, FGCU and Drake University are tied for ninth, each submitting two-round scores of 597 (301-296) and (302-295) respectively.

As an individual, Freshman Briana Carlson (Inverness, Fla.) leads the way for the Eagles with a score of 143 (70-73), which places her in a tie for sixth overall.

Also in the top 25, Junior Lina Elmsater (Solna, Sweden) is tied for 15th overall, turning in scorecard of 146 (74-72) and Senior Amber Pedersen (St. Petersburg, Fla.) is in a tie for 23rd overall with a score of 149 (75-74).

The final round of the 32nd Annual Pat Bradley Invitational will begin Tuesday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
