Heather Hagerman recently exhausted her athletic eligiblility at FGCU and is one of the top golfers in program history. Last season, she was a second team All-Atlantic Sun selection. She won one tournament during her senior season and helped lead the Eagles to a pair of team titles during the year. She posted top five finishes in five tournaments last season. Hagerman was the Eagles top finisher in 15 consecutive tournaments and was the only player in the history of the program to qualify for the NCAA Division II South Region championships.
“I have grown so much from the FGCU athletics program and hope to continue to do so now being a part of the staff,” said Hagerman. “It was an honor to be chosen as assistant and all I can say is that I can’t wait to get down to business and win some events. Our team has a lot of potential and I am excited to help push the girls not only from a player prospective, but now from a coaching one.”
