The FGCU women's soccer team recently took time to assist in putting a roof on a house for Habitat for Humanity on April 13 at the local Lehigh Acres location. The Eagles spent the day rehabilitating a home and making sure the roof was secure on one of the houses for the community.

FGCU women's soccer team rallied to score two goals in a comeback victory against USF, 2-1, at the FGCU Soccer Complex last weekend. Transfer Julia Roddar added the game-winner to give the Eagles their second win of the spring season.

FGCU head women's soccer coach Jim Blankenship has announced the dates for his 2012 Eagles Soccer Camps. Blankenship and his staff will hold their Jr. Elite Camp (June 11-14), Day Camp (June 18-22) and Elite Camp (July 19-22) at the FGCU Soccer Complex.

Three goals and a strong defensive effort led the way as the FGCU women's soccer team earned a 3-0 shutout victory against FIU at the FGCU Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon.

A penalty kick in the 12th minute proved to be the difference, as the USA Under-17 National Team was able to overcome a terrific defensive effort from the FGCU women's soccer team for a 1-0 win Friday night in a friendly match to open the Eagles' spring season.

FGCU women's soccer team will open its spring schedule with an exhibition match against the USA Under-17 National Team on Friday, February 10 at 3 p.m. in Sunrise, Fla. The Eagles will be traveling 20 players, including four seniors from last year's A-Sun championship squad.
