FORT MYERS, Fla. - Jim Blankenship, head women's soccer coach at Florida Gulf Coast University, and his staff have announced the dates and opened registration for their 2009 Summer Camps. Blankenship and the FGCU staff will hold a Jr. Elite Camp (June 14-18) and an Elite Camp (June 24-28) at the FGCU Soccer Complex, as well as a Day Camp (July 27-31).

Jr. Elite Camp
June 14th - 18th 2009 : Ages 10-18
Cost: $495.00 Overnight Campers  -  $350.00 Day Campers
9 AM - 8 PM ($100.00 Deposit required w/application)

 

Elite Camp
June 24th - 28th 2009 : Ages 13-18
Cost: $495.00 Overnight Campers  -  $350.00 Day Campers
9 AM - 8 PM ($100.00 Deposit required w/application)

 

Objective: This elite residential camp is designed to improve the skill level and tactical understanding of all players. Practice sessions will be intense and very competitive to challenge at every level of the player’s ability. This camp is also staffed by college and O.D.P. coaches!

Day Camp
July 27th - 31st 2009: Ages 6-14
Cost: $225.00 Full Day (9 AM - 3 PM)  -  $100.00 (Half Day: 9 AM - 11 AM)
($100.00 Deposit required w/application)

Objective: This day camp is designed for players wanting to learn the fundamental skills of soccer. Individual instruction emphasizes the use of correct techniques.
