Women's Soccer Two-A-Days: Fifth Edition

MACON, Ga. - Each day from August 13th through the 20th, the Atlantic Sun Conference will preview the upcoming 2010 women's soccer season with the A-Sun Two-A-Days, where we interview a player or coach from each of the eleven A-Sun teams. Today we talked with FGCU's redshirt junior KC Correllus.

Game to Watch: Sun., September 5th vs. Arkansas, 1 p.m. - At the Embassy Suites Kick-Off Classic hosted by FGCU, the Eagles face Arkansas in a Sunday matchup. The Lady Razorbacks finished last season with a winning record overall and in road contests. Also playing in the invitational tournament is Kent State, and Miami (Fla.).

Top Returning Scorer: Jessica Swartzentruber - As a freshman, Swartzentruber was second on the team in scoring with three goals and three assists despite starting in only 12 of 19 games. She netted her goals against Army (9/6), Austin Peay (9/13) and Citadel (9/18).

First Conference Game: FGCU's first conference game comes against Jacksonville on September 17th when the Eagles trek to the River City for the match. Last season, FGCU and JU tied 1-1, while last time the two teams met in Jacksonville the Dolphins came away with a 1-0 victory.
