Head Coach Jim Blankenship and his staff will host three camps this summer.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Jim Blankenship, head women's soccer coach at Florida Gulf Coast University, and his staff have announced the dates and opened registration for their 2008 Summer Camps. Blankenship and the FGCU staff will hold a Day Camp at the FGCU Soccer Complex (June 9-13 & July 28-Aug. 1), as well as an Elite Camp (June 15-19).

Elite Residential Camp
June 15-19, 2008
Ages 13-18
Cost: $450.00 (Overnight Campers) $350.00 (Day Campers) 9 AM - 8 PM ($100.00 Deposit required w/application)
Check In: Campers should arrive June 15th and check in at the resident’s hall from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Objective: This elite residential camp is designed to improve the skill level and tactical understanding of all players. Practice sessions will be intense and very competitive to challenge at every level of the player’s ability. This camp is also staffed by college and O.D.P. coaches!

 

Day Camp
June 9-13, 2008 & July 28-Aug 1, 2008 (Shoot and Save Camp) with Assistant Coach Peter Mellor
Ages 6-14
Cost: $225.00 Full Day: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM $100.00 Half Day: 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM ($100.00 Deposit required w/application) Check In: Campers should arrive June 9th from 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM at the FGCU Soccer Complex

Objective: This day camp is designed for players wanting to learn the fundamental skills of soccer. Individual instruction emphasizes the use of correct techniques.
