Embry-Riddle defeats FGCU Women's Tennis

FORT MYERS – Embry-Riddle University won five singles matches and two doubles matches Tuesday afternoon to defeat Florida Gulf Coast University 7-2 in women’s tennis action.
Junior Stephanie Oldock (Naples, FL) picked up a three-set win at No. 5 singles while senior Izabella Ciesinska (Mississauga, Ontario) and freshman Maria Testa Maggiorini (Buenos Aires) teamed up for the first time this spring and won at No. 2 doubles.
FGCU falls to 1-2 on the season while Embry-Riddle evened its record at 1-1. The Eagles travel to Tampa on Saturday for a noon match with the Spartans.
