FGCU Women's Tennis Beats Saint Leo

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Gulf Coast University women’s tennis team picked up its second straight victory with an 8-1 win over Saint Leo on Sunday afternoon at the FGCU Tennis Complex. After winning two of the three doubles matches, the Eagles swept all six singles matches to improve to 4-5 on the season. Sophomores Jonalea Hileman (Fort Worth, TX), Krista Polulak (Sarasota, FL), Lori Colby (Sarasota, FL) and freshman Brett Kinley (Boynton Beach, FL) all picked up singles and doubles victories for FGCU. Freshmen Maria Testa Maggiorini (Buenos Aires) and Lesley Anne Passolt (Plymouth, MN) picked up singles wins at No. 1 and No. 4, respectively.
