FGCU Women's Tennis Wins Third Straight

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Gulf Coast University women’s tennis team blanked Palm Beach Atlantic University 9-0 Thursday afternoon at the FGCU Tennis Complex for its third straight win. Six different players won two matches apiece for the Eagles. Sophomore Krista Polulak (Sarasota, FL) and freshman Maria Testa Maggiorini teamed up for a win at No. 1 doubles before winning at No. 4 and No. 1 singles respectively. Senior Izabela Ciesinska (Mississauga, Ontario) and sophomore Jonalea Hileman (Fort Worth, TX) paired for a win at No. 2 doubles and picked up singles wins at No. 3 and No. 2 singles. Senior Angie Mykieta (Bremen, Germany) partnered with freshman Lesley Anne Passolt (Plymouth, MN) for a win at No. 3 doubles and then came through with victories at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
