FGCU Women's Tennis beats Drury University 7-2

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The No. 28 Florida Gulf Coast University women’s tennis team picked up its fourth consecutive victory with a 7-2 win over Drury University on Tuesday afternoon at the FGCU Tennis Complex.
Two players picked up two wins each for the Eagles. Sophomores Brett Kinley (Boynton Beach, FL) and Lydia Diaz-Galindo (Seville, Spain) both won their single matches, then teamed up together to beat the Drury’s women’s tennis team in the No. 3 doubles.
Sophomores Maria Braniecka (Piotrowek, Poland), Maria Maggiorini (Buenos Aires, Argentina), and Jonalea Hileman (Fort Worth, TX), alongside junior Krista Polulak (Sarasota, FL) all won their singles matches. Maggiorini improved her record to 9-3 after Tuesday’s match.
FGCU (9-3) will travel to Savannah, GA to meet top ranked Armstrong Atlantic State (13-0) on Saturday March 25.
