Sophomore: Katharine "Jen" Evans earned Second Team All-Atlantic Sun honors as a doubles tandem with Jessica Sweeting...The duo tallied a 13-5 overall record...Evans and Sweeting performed very well in conference matches, finishing with a 7-3 record...In singles play, Evans was 2-3 overall, picking up wins at positions #4 and #6.
Freshman: Went 3-10 at the number 3 position...Received Atlantic Sun All-Academic Honors.
High School: Attended Evangelical Christian School in Fort Myers...Won two state championships as a member of the ECS volleyball team along with Holly Youngquist, who plays volleyball at FGCU.
Personal: Favorite sports moment is winning the volleyball state championship as a senior in high school...favorite athlete is Albert Pujols...Chose FGCU because it is close to home and has a beautiful campus...Daughter of Kathy & John Evans.
