Freshman: Posted a 1-19 record during singles play during the 2008 season. She will return for her sophomore campaign and compete for one of the top 6 spots for the lady eagles.
High School: Attended A.W. Dreyfoos High School of the Arts…Graduated in 2007…Coached by Mike Daley.
Personal: Daughter of Lubin and Claire Johnson…Undecided on a Major…Favorite sports moment was holding the American flag on center court at the Davis Cup…Favorite athlete is Roger Federer…Favorite sports movies are Love and Basketball and Coach Carter…One person Leah would like to meet is Dwyane Wade…Biggest accomplishment so far in life is being able to play Division 1 Tennis at FGCU…Chose FGCU because it’s still a new and growing school, the class sizes are just the right size, and loved the campus and living arrangements.
